Guest Access
If you are not a Virginia Tech student, faculty, or staff member, you may be able to access the University's Wireless LAN via a sponsoring department as a "Guest."
Guests may create an account online at guest.cns.vt.edu and request service. This should be done prior to arriving on campus if at all possible.
University guests need to contact the department they are visiting to arrange for Wireless LAN access while on campus. It is necessary to know your VT contact person to process an online request for wireless network service. If you are unable to identify such a person or have related questions, please contact the Virginia Tech Operations Center at (540) 231-4357.
