Virus Email Zip File Attachments Blocked

September 6, 2004, 1:27PM - Zip files attachments are no longer being blocked on Virginia Tech mail servers.

11 August, 2004, 11:24AM - Due to the recent influx of virus-laden emails Virginia Tech will continue to block .zip file attachments on both VT Mail and Exchange systems through August 30. This security measure will help minimize the proliferation of viruses that are making use of the vt.edu domain to propagate to university users.
