Cancellation of Telecommunications Requests

Cancellation of telecommunications requests prior to the service being activated may result in cancellation fees. The amount will vary from $6.00 to $38.00, plus any applicable time and materials charges. The following fee schedule will apply:

1. A cancellation fee of $6.00 will apply if the service request is for modem pool service.
2. An $18.50 cancellation fee will apply for video services, or other services requested which have no installation or processing fees.
3. If a request for service is cancelled before a technician makes a site visit to complete the work, a cancellation fee of $18.50 will apply.
4. If a group of multiple service requests are placed in the same area, and one of the service requests is cancelled while the technician is on site, a cancellation fee of $18.50 will apply.
5. A $38.00 cancellation fee, plus any applicable time and materials fees, will apply if a service request is cancelled when a technician goes on site to complete the work.
6. If the service request is cancelled after the work has been completed, full installation fees, plus any applicable time and materials charges, will apply.

All service request cancellations must be made with the office where the original request was made.
